It just arrived for me. Even though I find it a bit too proactive from then to remove the v it's nice to get s compensation for it. I've got nothing against using historical symbols in the game, and we have the German, Soviet and Italian flags in it..

Is there any significance to the V in the style? I use this style on my 430U and I honestly didn't see the difference until I saw the comparison shots. Too similar to the "Z"?
I'd also say that it's pretty nice of them to compensate gold for it, but 500 gold is a little strange considering their usual skin gold cost is 1,500 gold. But you do get to keep the skin so that's something :)

Yes, V has been used along with the more commonly seen Z. I think A and O have also been used.

Oh yikes, I was not aware of that at all. That's terrible that the skin has stayed unchanged until now.

I mean the use of V is less common than the Z and WG have made so many styles by this point that they probably just didn't realize, ya it's a less common 3D style but they crank out a lot of cosmetics so it's not crazy they didn't catch this at first. Whether they caught it themselves or it was pointed out to them they have now acted and the problematic element of it is now gone, seems like the opposite of terrible to me.

That's fair, it's just that I've been using this style since it came out and it probably wasn't a good look for the past couple months. Glad it's taken care of now.

For an Israeli tank, an american tank, or any other nations tanks it denotes the tank company its assigned to. Since Kelevra was a Tiran inspired skin it contained the V. I loved the skin as the fact they have an israeli skin at least. But now they have to pull everything that even remotely references the war.

It's actually the opposite, which I didn't make very clear sorry. You need the email as it takes you to the web login system, which talks to the code generator system, which passes you to the regional code entry system of your area (asia, eu, america's etc...). It's all website based, none of it is ingame/client side.

Do you only get a refund if you already have the skin at level 4? Or is it for everyone?

It's a lootbox skin from Christmas boxes, not a battlepass skin.

It is, it's still a digital asset at the end of the day that you got from the lootboxes, it's just awaiting use in your depot right now.

I saw this in my inbox and it looked MIGHTY suspicious so I took extreme care doing it and it's all legit.
WG are refunding owners of the 430u Kelevra skin because they removed the "V" on it (see last 2 pictures) with 500g.
You have to login to claim it (it uses the global login system first so if it doesn't work, goto your local wg portal, login, go back to the emjail, click the link again) and it will take you to the code screen with a code already populated. Press redeem code and you're all done.
I have attached a picture of me recieving the gold, despite it looking shady, this is 100% legit. Just wanted to make others aware in case you don't check your email much / are unsure if it was a fish etc...

As someone working in cyber security, it warms my heart to see someone actually thinking about phishing emails ahaha
It had all the hallmarks of a good phish, in fact it was so on the nose I thought i was being targeted - Natural reason for contact, enticing offer (but not too good to make it unbelievable), no specific naming of me (no in game name nor my registered name, just "commander"). I checked all the URLs which provided some relief so opened it in my sandbox and as soon as I saw the global openID system they use at wargaming I knew it would be fine.
Please at least have a news article or contact me in game or something wg next time.
I got the email and the code doesn't work, "Invalid code. Please make sure you entered the correct code", despite just clicking the link and being logged in.
