In Demand Job + Low Barrier to Entry

There are tons of jobs in tech but not a lot of people (career changers like myself) understand the best path to take. What would you say is the most in demand job right now, when factoring in a low barrier to entry?

I initially was recommended to go for front end, and I’ve learned a lot, but it seems the market is saturated and entry level roles are extremely competitive.

Is there an entry level pathway where I could just learn the skills, maybe get a cert, and have an easier time getting hired than front end?

Edit: I see a lot of ads saying “cybersecurity is so in demand that companies will pay you to train with them”. I find that hard to believe and haven’t come across that yet
