Can anyone reccommend a good documentary on Irish History?

Netflix seems best for documentaries, in my opinion. So as I was reading this morning about the Queen of England shaking hands with Martin McGuinness yesterday, I realized I don't know enough Irish history. Are there any good Irish History documentaries available for Instant?

Just added both to my queue. I was hoping for more of a wide ranging, complete history of type of documentary though. These both look like great watches though. Thanks!

http://www.reddit.com/r/Documentaries/comments/vmxb5/who_can_suggest_a_good_documentary_abou_the/ this was posted yesterday, odd. Look up "The Troubles" that's what the Northern Ireland conflict has been historically called. There is sooo much history behind it and its great you want to learn more! Just know that Northern Ireland history is what this Martin McGuinness business is all about, I'm sure Ireland's entire history is also interesting but Northern Ireland is where its at.

Secret of Kells. That's what it used to be like before the British came.

Not a documentary but it's a film about the hunger strikes by members of the IRA (Bobby Sands and that lot) in 1981: Hunger.

Directed by Steve McQueen, starring the brilliant Michael Fassbender (Prometheus, 300, and another McQueen film: Shame).
