Cool gun and vid, but for what it's worth firing a high powered cartridge at or over any body of water isn't the best of ideas. The potential for a round skipping off into oblivion is quite high.
Once again cool AR though! I wish suppressors were legal in my country...
That's not a good analogy. If you're to stupid to understand the concepts of shooting a high velocity pointed bullet at more than a 10 degree angle I don't know what to tell you. I myself understand physics a bit better than most people. Not getting into why, but I have a slight background in it.
It's not breaking a primary safety rule. As I said the bullet CANNOT return in the direction of the shooter. Worst case is it bounces and goes into the bank OR if it jumps the bank it flies into a tree over the next 3 miles(we all know a .223 doesn't go anywhere near that far).
I know where I'm shooting and I know what's behind it. Therefore I'm following the rules. Stop being a nazi about shit. I understand where I'm shooting and whats behind it...that's good enough. There seems to be this culture of "You aren't being safe enough" shooters on here. Really gets annoying when you know you're being safe. It's one thing if I was shooting a .45 acp while laying down, it's another to stand that close with a high velocity pointed FMJ bullet.

Right, good thing there is 3 miles of forest and a 50 foot tall bank that rises only 100 feet behind it.
Yeah well just because I know my handgun isn't loaded doesn't mean you'll find me pointing it at my head.
Not trying to bash you buddy, but a willingness to break one rule of safety is a bad habit to make.

Well as I said, not trying to bash you not insult you personally, no need to do the same.
Clearly your head is screwed on straight, I meant it as more of a PSA than anything.
Happy shooting.
No need to attack a concerned fellow gunnitor
