Episode 7's ending (Soldier Boy's comments) is confirmed by EW article - not a fake-out.

It'd be weird for the episode to end like that only for Soldier Boy to say on the phone next episode:

"Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike!"
