An odd poem I wrote about a week ago

Art

Bad Religion: "Confusion is a fundamental state of mind

It doesn't really matter what I'm figuring out

I'm guaranteed to wind up in a state of doubt"

Jordan Peterson: "You're only confused insofar as you're

not sorted out! So sort yourself out! Clean up your room.

Know thyself. Figure out what your hierarchy of values is!

Because your values determine what you aim at.

If you don't know what you're aiming at, then you don't know

what you value, and that makes you a puppet! And maybe

whoever, or whatever, is pulling the strings doesn't

have your best interest in mind."

Attention flickers, fantasies abound:

beautiful women, a big house,

a rich husband, respect from peers,

a sexy fit body, the perfect environment for my children,

every advantage that can be afforded,

a hot submissive wife, a spouse who worships me,

a fast car, a large audience hanging on to every word,

great sex, delicious food, being pampered,

a new outfit every day, power at work,

high status in society, a feeling of superiority

over that person with the wrong opinions,

renow for having restored the tradition,

adoring loving children

who make me feel how I want to feel.

You don't know what you want to feel you said so in the beginning.

Aim at the highest possible thing then the confusion will cease.

Read the words of Nanak:

"In his ego, he comes and goes, wandering in confusion, deluded by doubt."

"Deluded by doubt, the unfortunate wander around in confusion."

"O human being, search your own heart every day, and do not

wander around in confusion."

"Great is the Master, High is His Heavenly Home.

Highest of the High, above all, is His Name."

"O my mind, vibrate the Lord's Name, and all your

affairs shall be resolved."
