Hello readers, welcome to OCpoetry. This subreddit is a writing workshop community -- a place where poets of all skill levels can share, enjoy, and talk about each other's poetry. Every person who's shared, including the OP above, has given some feedback (those are the links in the post) and hopes to receive some in return (from you, the readers).

If you really enjoyed this poem and just want to drop a quick comment, to show some appreciation or give kudos, things like "great job!" or "made me cry", or "loved it" or "so relateable", please do. Everyone loves a compliment. Thanks for taking the time to read and enjoy.

If you want to share your own poem, you'll need to give this writer some detailed feedback. Good feedback explains from your point of view what it was like to read the poem, and then tries to explain how the poem made you feel like that. If you're not sure what that means, check out our [feedback guide](https://new.reddit.com/r/ocpoetry/wiki/feedbackcritiques), or look

This almost made me tear up, wow is this beautiful!

I think it's a very fine line between exaggerated romanticism and genuinely heartwarming expressions of love. This is an example of the latter.

When I wear my rose-tinted glasses and daydream about the person I love, this is what it sounds like. I feel like you translated that thought process into a poem, and I will absolutely use it as a reference point in the future to let people know what it sounds like in my head.

More than anything else, I love how this doesn't feel pretentious at all. I have no doubt that you mean every word you said, and that to me is what separates a decent poem from a great one.

I was in a bad mood and this made me smile. Thank you for sharing your art!

Amazing and heart felt.

When I read poetry (especially ones about love) it's easy for me to become dissatisfied with the classic love cliches. But the way that you write about this girl who makes you so happy and special is really amazing in the best way possible.

i enjoy the structure of the anaphora of the lines. beginning with a personal statement and then what she does. it makes it really special and that you wrote it just for her.

great job, and im so glad that you're happy.

this is really cute i hope you take that as a compliment because that’s how i mean it

My heart races faster than a car going mach speed

every time she smiles

I hear a sweeter song than moon river

Every time I hear her lovely voice

I feel like I play lottery everyday and always win

every time time she comes to see me again

I feel like the richest man alive

every time she gives me the love i need

I feel like the coldest winter turns to summer

every time she wraps her arms around me

I feel like every waking moment is great

every time I'm with her

I felt like she was my soulmate

from the second I met her
