When do you think a hard reset would be good?
So I ask this not as in sunsetting but more like going from a d1 to d2 type situation, where your time is still respected and you get to still use your stuff in d2. But I couldnt help but think that we really are getting way too powerful and couldnt help but think some time in the future this might help with that, with that said I want to know what you guys think would be a good point to pause and do a reset. I think after the final shape would be a good idea as its the end of the light and dark saga.

Bungie will need to do something about power creep sooner than that. I recently heard some rumors that a reset or something like a reset may come next expansion for lightfall.
The traveler may become infected with the darkness and guardians lose their light and new subclasses or subclass is introduced.
This would be a perfect opportunity for some kind of reset or major fix to power creep.
I seriously doubt that Bungie would completely rework all the light subclasses just to remove them two seasons later

You really believe that they put all this effort in to reworking the light classes only to completely start over less than a year later?

Removing the light subclasses wouldnt be the answer to that like those below have said it wouldnt be wise to do all that work redoing the subclasses to just remove them so soon after this is more like the start to how the way the subclasses changed from 1 to 2. The answer to power creep lies elsewhere
Ok, well. I just heard a rumor about major changes coming with Lightfall and I was mistaken thinking it had something to do with a reset.
There most likely will be major changes with lightfall just not a hard reset itll be like every other major expansion big changes with a soft reset
