Need help with 1v1v1's

I have just started playing the new sg gamemode on MMC and keep making it to the deathmatch then dying. My problem is that if I agro someone 1i just get 2v1ed but if I stay back I still get 2v1ed. Healing is also minimal meaning I need to reserve my health. Any tip? Thanks in advance.
