Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate the kind words. Damn, I forgot that people outside of my region don't say 'cure' the way that I do. It would rhyme if I read it to you. Ha.

Short and impactful, I really like this.
I especially like how the beginning of each stanza has short sentences, and then finishes off with a longer one rhyming with the last short sentence.
The only thing that slightly threw me off was "cure" not rhyming - not that I dislike it, just kind of stifled the poem at the end.
Great poem overall!

I think this is very good. It took me a second to understand that “lie in” means “sleep in.”  Lol. I think the short lines help emphasize the point of living in the moment. I may change “dwell” to “dwelling.” To me it currently reads like your are telling me TO dwell.

Don't lie in

Get up

Be fast

Or lie there waking

Dwell on the past.

Right now

Present is everything

Way of the Dao.
