About DayZtrade

This subreddit is designed around the exchange of items in Day Z. We are trying to provide a safe place for reddit users to trade their weapons and other items. We have implemented a system that keeps track of how many trades users have made and how long they have had their accounts. While no system is foolproof, we think this is a good way to keep users safe from being scammed.

Posting Format

Use this format for your title: LF [items you want] - FT [items you have]

All trade posts must follow this format. If a post does not follow this format, it will be removed.

Reporting Completed Trades

How do I complete a trade?

After you have finished the trading process with your partner, you should head over to the Successful Trades thread for the month.

Once there make a top-level post in the thread with the following information:

• The name of your trading partner
• The names of the items you traded
• A link to the original trade thread - if possible link to the comment that started the trade by using the permalink button in the lower left corner of the comment

The final step is to send the link to the comment you made to your partner. Have your partner confirm the trade by commenting on your post.

Flair System (Work in Progress)

What is flair? Why do we have it?

There are 8 kinds of flair:

Hatchet, Makarov, M1014, AKM, M4A1 CCO SD, FN FAL, AS50 and the M136. They are used to distinguish users who have made successful trades. Each weapon represents a tier you can reach by trading. They all come with their own criteria.

The criterias which must be met for each tier are as follows:

• Hatchet: 1 trade, 30 day account age
• Makarov: 3 trades, 30 days account age
• M1014: 5 trades, 30 days account age
• AKM: 10 trades, 1 month account age
• M4A1 CCO SD: 15 trades, 2 month account age
• FN FAL: 25 trades, 3 month account age
• AS50: 50 trades, 6 month account age
• M136: Moderator

Since this is a new system, all criteria is subject to change!

How do I get flair?

Click here to request your flair. You must meet the above criteria to receive any flair.

If you are getting flair for the first time, or are upgrading to a higher tier of flair, please include links to completed-trades threads for all of your completed trades.

Posting in the completed-trades thread WILL NOT GET YOU FLAIR AUTOMATICALLY. You MUST follow these directions to receive flair.
