When I died
The day that I died I went numb, I turned hard and unfeeling, and never felt again
The day that I died I left home I walked out of the house and down the street
And never came back again.
I closed the door unaware of how I slammed it
I strolled through the estate, inconsiderate of the trees talking to me; Telling me to wake up
The day that I died I fell in love
Not with a person or a place
But with the idea of being a child again
My youth having been snapped up in a matter of hours
The day that I died my mother mourned
She cried for years after that and never laughed again
The day that I died, I smiled, I laughed and cried and didn’t know what was coming
The day that I died, I lost myself
And to this hour I still wonder where she wandered.
->I just found this in my notes in my phone, written almost 2 years ago when I was 16 about when my dad died
