Duane Betts
Has anyone seen Duane solo? I’m seeing him Friday and was wondering what to expect.

Buddy caught it and said it’s good. He’s a good player as well and I think has a few people touring with him. It’s mainly the Allman-Betts band but they dumped Allman. Haha.

If I'm being honest I prefer hearing Duane sing anyway. Sounds like his dad.

I’ve loved Duane’s playing since the Oakley Krieger Band in the late 90s. I’ve got tickets Sunday.

Thanks for all the replies! I’ve actually seen the Allman Betts band. I was just curious what Duane’s solo group was like. I love the third guitarist in ABB and was hoping he’d be with Duane

We saw him in June. There was an opening singer/songwriter. Duane's band consisted of him, Barry Duane Oakley and Johnny Stachela. The show was excellent and you're going to love it.

He is great. Good player, nice voice, strong stage presence. Plays about what you’d expect - blues, rock, country, some allman, decent jamming. A fun show.
