Is it normal for a dating age woman to go to a bar, buy only two beers on a card, close the tab and file away the receipt?

I live in a liberal affluent college town.

Edit 1. Has merica come to a time when girls go out and buy two beers.. only two. And two different kinds so one is for someone else. Why is it so rare to find just one girl with some spirit? Bing some cash and have some drinks. Seriously never happens anymore. Its just so sad and uninspiring.
