Robotevil joins the ranks of Laurelai and pals, arguing passionately (and irrationally) that US military propaganda is not happening on reddit. Downvote brigades are summoned.
robotevil's content-free fallacy-ridden argument:
u/rainbowjarhead nicely sums up the general impression that robotevil's "logic" leaves:
You were replying to a comment that contained a direct link to a military account that does nothing but advertise on reddit, and you have a set of bullet points that all say the same thing, that the military does not advertise on reddit, and then conclude with a summation that you are going to ignore the evidence which you have just been presented with until you see more of the same.
Holy shit, I am in awe.
He rallies the downvote troopers in one of u/jcm267's hate groups:
His nonsense was called out in there too:
Are you kidding me? Are you really comparing 'military agencies belonging to a world superpower trying to influence social views in massive social networking environments' to "magic space teapots" as if this is a discussion about whether we believe in leprechauns vs. not believing in leprechauns?
Are you not able to think? You seem to be just as bad as the actual conspiratards - you're on the opposite end of the spectrum, but just as irrational.
Robotevil and his pals have another much more rational conspiracy theory:
I can show you where a group of us figured out this was about the poster making money through advertising (we estimate he probably made out with over a million dollars in Youtube-revenue share). In short: nothing to do with military propaganda, everything to do with using Reddit as a free traffic source to make money hand-over-fist.
This conspiracy theory of theirs is posted in yet another downvote brigade post: http://www.reddit.com/r/SubredditDrama/comments/v3f1v/the_us_military_is_invading_reddit_through_rpics/c5122v0
