No walkers seen today.
I figured out how to tether the phone, not much else to do right now.
There are five of us up here right now, water and food are still good. Doug brought the base station and is doing a radio check every two hours. Nothing yet. He's got an idea of making a spikes barrier that points down and will catch them if they try to come up. Real people cold see their way through. It seems like a lot of work to me.
He says it is unlikely that the hordes will come through here. I just want to figure out a way to the lake that doesn't fucking scare me to death.
We are here with Brian and his two daughters. Brian is a mechanic, and he fixed the car of the people who had rented the tower last weekend. It's his week with the girls and he was packed up and on his way out when we came back. He's been here longer than we were. After talking with us I guess he thought our idea was a good one, because here he is.
It's been a quiet day, but i've been fighting panic the whole fucking time I saw the walker. I try to smile as I pry up the staircase one sweaty "please god be silent" step at a time. I just am fucking gratefully that there was a ladder in the shed that get's to the balcony.
I am petrified. I am horrified. And I WILL NOT GIVE UP!
JUST FUCK THIS SHIT! JUST FUCK IT!
