Soundsticks, should i keep them?

So i picked up this Harman/Kardon Soundstick II sub and only one sound stick for 11 bucks and so far i am not sure on the quality of the sound or if it even works rather for the sheer fact it didn't come with a power brick. It goes great with my Powermac G4 cube as i hear sometimes they were sold as a set but i am still a bit leery in pushing money towards completing the set. Does any one know how they sound and such?
