My brother leaves in two weeks for his mission.... Just found out today.

I'm really upset about it. I am proud of him for being willing to leave home for two years but I just feel like its all my parents fault. That they brain washed him. I have a one year old daughter and she will have no clue who he is when he comes home. Also I thought we had more time, he leaves the day after the bridal shower for our brother and fiancé. Have any of you had to go through anything like this? How'd you deal with them leaving? I just know in my gut something bad is going to happen. He's going to miss everything and I don't know how I feel.
