Undoing a bad start at camp?
Over the last few months, I've tried to develop inner game and I saw that it actually worked. It worked pretty well at school, and I became more and more relaxed and confident.
However, I recently arrived at a summer camp where the people and environment aren't anything I'm used to, since it's in a different region of the U.S. This tripped me up, and I reverted back to my "quiet" state, and made no friends further than acquaintances.
Now I'm suspecting that many of the camp members think of me as the loner guy. They've largely divided into cliques, including one group of "cool" guys who knew each other before camp.
The question is (and TLDR): any tips on how I can start being talkative and social with everyone at camp when I've already spent several weeks being quiet and a loner?
