I'm anticipating a civil war in the eastern province. Am I alone in this feeling?

I'm seriously waiting for shit to blow up. Full on religious, civil war.

I'm basing this on a couple of rumors and other reported news (yes rumors, you can't have a legitimate source for everything here. A word of mouth sometimes is "good enough"). Anyway.

• There has been insane "religious" charging and re-fulling on both sides in the last couple of years. Every religious person has dove into full retard, no, insane mode. It's like the 90's all over again, except this time sunnah and shia both added an element of racism and hatred. This is even worse than the 90's, no doubt. Years ago it was just debate on Almustakilla channel. Religious scholars talking, it was fine. Recent'y, it gone really bad. Tens of TV channels being openly bigoted and racist. And most people are fucking okay with that.

• The Bahrain revolution have only made things worse (to this day, I do not have an opinion regarding that subject, I just don't know who to believe. So I just took a stand that everyone is a liar). The Bahrani situation is not separated from Saudi, it's all interconnected. Sunnah are accusing all Shia of being loyal to Iran, murderers. Shia accusing the Sunnah of being criminals and supporting a criminal regime. All this crossed the border.

• Police, and various MoI forces are present 24/7 in Shia areas in the eastern province for months (and I'm sure there's some shit going on there with lack of reporting).

• The shooting of Nimr Alnimr. Well, they captured him first, that pissed the Shia off. Then they let him go, so that pissed the Sunnah! Now they went to capture him again, but this time he was armed. He shot, they shot his leg. Then the idiots made a mistake, they took photos and videos of him and uploaded it to the net! You're the fucking police, you can't do that!

Those were the facts, now to the rumors:

• I heard, the police were given the green light to shoot anyone who is non-cooperative (is the shooting a couple of days ago near Riyadh related to this?). They also have a green light to shoot protesters. You know what that means, Shia.

• This is a far fetched one, but still the scariest one I had heard. Two Shia protesters were killed. It wasn't the police that shot. It was some Sunnah men (from Alkhawalid in Asharqiya) who killed them and ran away. This right there, is the start of a civil war.

This particular civil war is not entirely bad. It has the potential of getting rid of all the religious maniacs and bigots, which is a good thing. But then, there has to be collateral damage of innocent citizens, which is not cool. So I'm still conflicted of how I feel about this.

We live in one of those weird times in history you read about in history books, man.

EDIT: My problem is not with ultra religious Shia bigots alone, my problem is with bigoted Shia and Sunna. If it was one of them spreading bigotry among themselves that wouldn't worry me too much. What worries me is that a lot of people (Sunna and Shia) have reached this crazy point. "If" people are killed because they were Shia protesters, you think the idiot Shia will let it slip for the idiot Sunna?
