[Request] Can someone help to create a vintage travel poster from this photo of the Sunsphere?
Some nice people in r/picrequests suggested that I post my request here (Here is the original thread)...
This picture contains pretty much everything I want. That photo in particular is perfect as it is a sunset photo and has the water in the foreground, and also features the amphitheater. The only thing I would really suggest would be a bit more emphasis on the amphitheater as the amphitheatre itself is the venue, but the Sunsphere is obviously the focus of the picture and the tents shouldn't drown it out. The original photo and many more are on on this page.
I am planning on using it as in invitation to a World's Fair-themed wedding, and will add the text with the details in the upper-left sky and in the bottom area where the water is. An added bonus might be to remove the dull block of hotel at the base of the Sunsphere.
Here are several examples of vintage travel posters in case you might be unfamiliar with the style. Some common (but not particularly necessary) elements are gradients and shading, with generally uniform colors and some distinct contrasts. (Edit: I think this poster is a good example of the qualities I am looking for).
I will be more than glad to manage some form of payment for a large, very high definition image in the style I described that would be print-worthy. Let's please discuss expectations BEFORE you really work on this if you are serious about doing an image for payment, as my wedding budget is limited (whose isn't?). Anyway, thanks so much Drawit for reading this post and considering my request!
