Can anyone help with an urgent Google Docs on iPad question?
I've got myself into a bit of a pickle. I am away on a business trip and I have brought my iPad along to complete a job application. I use google docs primarily for its cloud features etc. I have finished writing my cover letter and have saved it as a PDF in Google docs, however I can see no way to email it as an attachment; in fact that option appears to be greyed out. I can send a link to the doc, but that would be unprofessional for a job application IMO. Is there anyway I can extract a file to then email as an attachment or am I screwed. Why is Google Docs so underdeveloped for the iPad?
Note: I know Apple and Google are meant to be rivals but is Google Docs any better on Android?
Edit: Here's the solution... 1- open Google Drive/Docs, Send original Google Doc file to Dropbox; this saves it as a PDF in Dropbox 2-In the Dropbox app open file and send to iBooks 3-In iBooks open file and chose the email 'sharing' option; this opens the mail app, with your PDF attached
