Let's talk cheap wearable lighting and bike.
I've seen a few threads on eplaya and a few weak ones in the past on here. Lets get an in depth list for those who don't want to be a darkwad and may be on a budget.
Headlamps:
- I've used this headlamp for camping over the last year and it's been reliable and cheap. It has a bright mode, dimmed, and red led mode. Runs on 2 AAA batteries. DO NOT USE THIS ON YOUR BIKE, YOU WILL BLIND OTHERS. Use this around your campsite, in the portos, or to just masturbate indiscreetly.
Flashlights:
- Coleman Max Flashlight-Crazy bight for its size. Runs on 3 AA batteries and will last all week. Incredibly rugged and wont let dust muck it up. Ladies, yes, that is a flashlight in my pocket and I'm happy to see you.
EL wire
- Extreme Glow has decently priced modular 2 meter EL wire and power supplies. They also have loads of cheap blinky glowey LED shit to wave in front of high people's faces. Supposedly has a 10% discount code for burners, but the one listed on the BM site doesn't work.
Glowsticks
- FUCK GLOWSTICKS. Horrible MOOP-creating non recyclable waste of petroleum. DO NOT BRING GLOWSTICKS.
Actual Bike Lights
- Bell Lights- Cheap, but ugly as sin. Gets the job done.
What else works for you?
