fishing in albany

I am going up to Albany for the Giants training camp the weekend of the 30th. The hotel we are staying at is The Albany hotel, right near what i believe is the Hudson? River that runs right through Albany. How is the fishing there? Are there any time restrictions to which parks close etc? Any help would be fantastic, thanks.
