I believe i have depression

hello r/depression

i have been able to work myself though problems and breakups before in my life. but i believe i have hit rock bottom.

i have been dating this amazing and wonderful girl for one year now. she has been loyal and was there for me all the time. we were so good, i was sure she was the "one". recently i have become unemployed and have been looking for work very actively. i plan to move out because things with me and my parents don't really work out, and its time i start my life.

so last week, i went camping with 2 friends who had their 2 other friends drop out of their spots, so they invited me and my girlfriend, but she couldnt book work off. so i the first night i texted my girlfriend just to say hi and i miss her, then the next day i was told we need a talk and things might be over. i was devastated. the one girl who i thought would be the one i would live with, have my children with, and die with, decided it was over. so the day i came back, i was talked with her and she told me i don't give her enough space (when we already talked about it and i did), i am to negative (because my stresses of home and work was negative behaviour) and that she lost all feelings for me, also that were not "compatible people". i was also told this was to benefit me and help me focus on getting a job "and being happy with my self".

i cant eat as much for the past two days, i try to put her to the back of my head (as it should be easy as it was for her) but i can't. and its bogging me down that this happened out of nowhere, and how much love i have for her. Reddit, are these signs of depression? because i have been depressed from relationships before, but this has added so much more to my plate. that i don't know what to even do anymore
