How big is your regular listening repertoire?

I have about 80 bands (split across around 200 albums) that I listen to in regular rotation. I get new albums at a rate of 1-2 a month, usually, which feels about as fast as I can reasonably assimilate them.

But even though I only listen to music for around 2-3 hours a day, I find that a lot of the music feels "overplayed" to me... I feel almost too familiar with the songs to really enjoy hearing them again (there's a few classic songs that can stand up to endless listening, but sadly a lot of stuff, even stuff I'd consider extremely good, can't).

What's my solution here? Speed up the rate at which I acquire more music, or learn to listen more closely to the music I already have? Or cut down how much I listen and try to do more active listening?
