Where in heck can I find an actual brick-and-mortar GAME store?

Seriosuly, this is ridonculous. The only "game store" I can think of is GameStop. Problem is, I hate gamestop and refuse to do business with them on principle. The only other places I can think of are general stores like Target, WalMart, and Fred Meyer, but the issue I have with those places is that the people in the electronics section tend to know nothing about the games and are only there to ring you up. I don't really like buying online because I have to put my debit card into someone else's system.

So tell me reddit, where can a man go to shop for games that's not gamestop and not a big box mart?
