What are some of your best Near Death Experience stories?

Yesterday when I was out on a run a neighbor's dog broke loose of its pen and came charging across the street at me at full speed. The dog snarled and bit at me and came close to even biting me. Thankfully the owner of the dog saw what was happening and called his dog back to his house. It may not be a near death experience but it got me thinking about what other people had come across that could be worse!
