Redditors, what is the craziest freak-accident you have ever had involving a household item?

Earlier today while brushing my teeth (keeping personal hygiene in the summer?), I was working on the back of my front teeth, when my toothbrush slipped out. It spun all the way around my hand, and then jabbed me square in the eye. It's an evil toothbrush. Surely, it can't be the craziest accident involving a household item. What are yours?
