Let's talk cheap wearable lights.
I've seen a few threads on eplaya and a few weak ones in the past on reddit. Lets get an in depth list for those who don't want to be a darkwad and are on a budget.
Headlamps:
- I've used this headlamp for camping over the last year and it's been very reliable. It has a bright, dimmed, and red LED mode. Runs on 2 AAA batteries. DO NOT USE THIS WHILE RIDING YOUR BIKE, YOU WILL BLIND OTHERS. Use this around your campsite, in the portos, or to just masturbate indiscreetly.
Flashlights:
- Coleman Max Flashlight is crazy bright for its size. Runs on 3 AA batteries and will last all week. Incredibly rugged and won't let dust muck it up. Why yes ladies, that is a flashlight in my pocket... don't worry, I'm also happy to see you.
EL wire
-
Extreme Glow has decently priced modular 2 meter EL wire and power supplies. They also have loads of cheap blinky glowey LED shit to wave in front of high people's faces. Supposedly has a 10% discount code for burners, but the one listed on the BM site doesn't work.
-
Amazon has some amazingly cheap EL wire packs.
Glowsticks
- FUCK GLOWSTICKS. Horrible moop-creating-non-recyclable-wastes-of-petroleum. DO NOT BRING GLOWSTICKS.
Bike Lights
- Bell Lights- Cheap and ugly as sin, but gets the job done. Visibility from the front and rear.
- These Things These go on your valve stems. Visibility from the sides.
What else works for you?
