Free adult playground meetup this Wednesday @6 in Riverside Park (table tennis, tether ball, traveling rings, stilts, sand, drinks)

Hey Reddit. I thought I'd share with you my favorite spot to hang out in Manhattan and not spend any money. It's officially called "Hudson Beach" and is located on 105th street inside Riverside Park. Basically it's a full-sized playground for all ages. It's the perfect blend of fitness, outdoors and fun.

This Wednesday beginning at 6PM I will be there with some of the regulars. Just come by and mention reddit and I'll happily give you a free tutorial on how to use the traveling rings.

Please bring your own ping pong paddles and balls since there aren't enough to go around.

There is an adjacent cafe that serves drinks and liquor if you are into that. One of the only places where it is totally legal to drink in the park.
