What are your writing goals, and fears?

I'll start.

I have goals to be published, as a novelist. When I'm thinking, I can't help but slip into the fantasy of being interviewed by Ellen and everyone going apeshit over my novel.

However, I just finished editing my novel and handed it off to a friend to critique. I'm literally feeling queasy and uncomfortable because I'm afraid of the feedback. I've never felt this before in any of my writing, and it freaks me out.

I needed to tell someone.
