Unusual class strats?

I'm about to start up a new playthrough, and something I've loved for a long time now is unusual strategies. I fell in love with the Witchhunter class in Morrowind and played it all the way through, even informally in Skyrim. But since I've recently become infatuated with Skyrim shield-bashing, and did a really interesting run of Oblivion using Stealth/Archery/Illusion, taking potshots while stealthed and then popping Invisibility when discovered, only to drop into stealth again and keep shooting. A friend of mine also expressed interest in doing a completely support class in Morrowind, using only Conjuration and followers to do damage.

Are there any unusual and unusually effective builds for combat in Morrowind?
