I am about to have a bass built for me by a luthier. What are some things I should know?

What I know I want:

*Jazz pickups (Lollar)

*Rosewood fretboard

*natural finish

What I need to decide:

*type of wood for body and neck

*body style

*front or rear routing

*bridge

Any input or thoughts from experience are greatly appreciated.
