Once again I call to you, fellow ents!

I have been planning on making weed brownies for a while now, and I want to try to make them right. Is it best to turn the cannabis into canna butter and use those for the brownies, or should I just plain and simple grind it then put it into the brownie? Any advice or opinions on any edibles is appreciated, thank you!
