IAMA Request: Someone who has used their concealed weapon in self defense.
I'm curious as to what occurred that made you make the decision to draw your weapon.
What happened afterward (legally, personally, etc.)?
How did the event affect your decision to continue to carry?
What were the perceptions of your friends/family/work colleagues after the event?
Note: I'm not looking for hardcore stories; or confessions of murder. I am truly curious as to what occurred before, during, and after the attack. I, myself, carry concealed and ride a motorcycle in an area with increasing crime rates. I have a feeling that I might have to defend myself or someone else at some point in my life.
Thanks for reading!
Edit: It's very late here and I have a meeting in the morning; so I may not respond over the next few hours. Thanks and have a good night!
