My first experience with DayZ.

After dying repeatedly I finally got off to a decent start.

So I start off in Electro. I check the map for good places to go and start getting supplies. I found a Motor Assembly Part, didn't take it though. I also got some beans an axe and a knife. As I wondered throughout the city, I picked off zombies as they came at me.

Then I wandered north of electro, I wanted to head for a Barn that had a high loot value. From a far I looked at the barn to see if anything was there, I saw a zombie crawling on the floor inside. There were also a couple of zombies outside the barn. I went inside the barn but the zombie was gone, whatever. I walked upstairs and found a Winchester with some ammo and some other supplies. I switched the Winchester to my primary and was about to head outside, when a zombie walked up the stairs and lunged at me. BANG! I shot it down instantly. Oh shit.... Now other zombies walked up the stairs, I took 7 of them down.

All the zombies where dead and I could no longer hear their moans. Although there was still rustling in the bushes. I stayed on the top level of the barn and looked at the entrance. Then I heard the sound of a gun being reloaded. Fuck. I looked at the entrance, that thing that was crawling from earlier on, wasn't a zombie, It was a survivor. Hearing him reload was my first instinct that he was going to shoot me. BANG, BANG, BANG. I shoot him 3 times and take his shit and leave.

Fucking exhilarating.
