Help me out. Pretty Please.

So here is the thing, I've been questioning my faith for some time now. Let's say around 6 months. After much research and thought, I've come to a (tentative) conclusion that a god does exist. I was raised in a fairly traditional Christian family, so after sort of returning to the flock of believers I veered toward the bible.

I've never read life advice in the bible and thought "No, that's a bad idea. Doesn't make sense." So in this sense I believe fully in the teachings of Jesus.

However. How how how however. I am angry. I'm confused. I'm scared. Reason being, I don't understand why christians are insistent on only christians going to heaven. I would be okay with this if I felt like everyone has a fair chance, but they don't. Thousands of people will never hear the word of god the way we hear it. Thousands will be raised in native, or otherwise isolated cultures so that they either A: Never hear of Jesus or B: Don't have a choice in the matter.

Is there a free pass? Please show me!

TL;DR: Do people who never hear of christianity still go to hell?
