Neighbors cigarette smoke really effects My heart rate and blood pressure.

So this is kind of complicated, but hopefully someone can help.

I recently moved into an apartment and I'm having some trouble with the cigarette smoke coming from my neighbors. Unfortunately I live in between these two neighbors, with windows all facing towards a blocked off alley way, so when they smoke there is no where for the smoke to go but in my windows.

So, I don't want to ask them to smoke (forever alone-ish), and I can't keep my windows closed all day as it gets very hot in the apartment if I do that. So is there any filter I can place in my windows (roughly 3'x4' in size) that I can buy to keep the smell out but still get fresh air?
