In your opinion, how important are the lyrics of the song?

By lyrics I am only referring to the words which are sung, not the manner in which they are sung or rapped or the melody.

Would you avoid a song solely due to its lyrics if you disliked them? When you decide whether or not you like a song, what prevalence (if any) do you place on the lyrics?
