I'm a bullshit Scot, help me sing Auld Lange Syne properly next New Years.
So Wikipedia has a Scots pronunciation guide, but I think we both know that my accent is lame as fuck.
I really don't have a national identity and I've always aligned with my dad's nationality the most. He was born in Greenock and moved to Canada as a kid. I'd just like to sing a Scot poem the proper way next New Years. It'd make me feel better about being a mutt.
How about it r/Scotland? I'm sorry if this is a weird request.
Edit: I just realized that I'm asking something pretty difficult because I have absolutely have no idea how I'd teach a frenchman to say "cardigan" in a perfect Canadian accent.
