Quest made me uber depressed... Any similar stories?

I just finished the Meeting History quest, with Jack, Luara etc. and while doing the quest I became uber depressed. I'm not sure why... I guess it has to do with the fact that I always wish I could go back and do things over, but they aren't really regrets.

I just I feel sad, because this family had someone to watch over them, while I didn't. Deep psychological issues maaaaan..

Any similar stories or quest stories that you absolutely had loved?
