What's some music you think is amazing that seems a little out of the norm for most music lovers

Some of my favorite bands are Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, pretty typical stuff. It should also be noted that I also live jam Bands like Phish and Widespread Panic, and think that the concerts that they put on where they just jam all night are amazing. But I also love Pretty Lights. His music seems just amazing to me. It's so diverse, and some songs can be full of energy and just made you want to go crazy (see Hot Like Sauce), while others can be really chill and relaxing (see Solamente).

I know Pretty Lights primarily samples other stuff, but I think he twists and manipulated it so much that it's almost completely new. He's usually grouped in with the emerging electronic music that is criticized for not really being artists, and just "pressing play" at his concerts. I don't deny that this isn't the case, but half the experience of a pretty lights concert is the show. The amazing light show that goes on just blows you mind. The actual music must be examined at studio level. And I think Pretty Lights excels there.
