I have a question (it was ignored in r/askagirl)

I went to an all-boy highschool and so obviously we didn't see girls often. However, when we did, I swear they just naturally flocked to the gay people. I figure since straight girls and gay dudes are attracted to men, they are likely to group up So my question is: do lesbians have a tendency to flock to straight men in the same way, or was this all coincidental and I'm just being stupid? (Someone suggested I ask here after several hours of zero response in r/askagirl)
