[Idea] Fair way for PVP debuffs
I've seen a lot of the ideas for making PVP less encouraged, but a big problem with all of them is that if you were innocent, and you killed out of self-defense, you'd get some debuff, which isn't fair. I have a solution!
Basically, it's a conflict checker. Let's say we have person A and B. Person A decides to attack Person B. The system quickly logs that Han shot first Person A attacked first. If Person B manages to kill Person A, the system wouldn't apply any debuffs, and Person B can continue on happy. And then, of course, if Person A does kill Person B first, then Person A does get a debuff. The debuff could be whatever, I've seen a lot of great ideas on this subreddit.
The system would keep a running log of conflicts made by the attacker, until the attacker dies. Once they're dead, the system would reset any debuffs. I think that this would be a fair way to deal with PVP, as it'd only hurt the person who initiated the fight, and not the person defending themselves.
