[Monk] Rolling through Act 1 like it's a boring, dead end job, but getting ripped apart in Act 2. What should I do?

I've been farming Act 1 Inferno for a long time now and it's gotten to the point where it's not really challenging anymore and I'm getting really tired of it. I still really like this game and I want to keep playing, but at this rate it will be another year before I can beat Inferno. Any help you can give me would be appreciated.

My Build - TL;DR: FoT/Thunderclap, Serenity/Ascension, BoH/Blazing Wrath, MoH/Time of Need, SW/Cyclone

Stats (buffed):

  • DPS - 21k (18k walking around)
  • Armor - 5.4K
  • Resists - 600
  • Life - 34k
  • LoH - 520
  • Crit - 22.5% / +120%

It seems like I should sacrifice some DPS for survivability. I'm okay with my HP - I think 30k is sufficient if I need to drop some to boost something else. The question is should I focus on Armor, Resists, maybe switch it up with MoE/Hard Target?

I have right around 1 million gold to spend, so I'm not super rich and can't afford great gear, but I'm willing to blow it all if it can help me make the transition to Act 2. Maybe I'm looking for the wrong items, but I can rarely find what I want for a price that I can afford.

Oh, Edit: I'm Dual Wielding. I guess I'm not 100% opposed to using a shield, I just really don't want to. I like the attack speed bonus for a couple reasons: I only have about 13% IAS from my gear and I have no other source of Spirit Regen than punching things as fast as I can.
