Subreddit option only displays sometimes. Is this normal?

When I swipe a post I get options such as comments, Save, hide, up/down vote. However, sometimes the 'subreddit' button displays, and sometimes it does not.

Is this on purpose? If so, why? And what decides if the option is going to be there?

If it's not on purpose, is it something that's going to be addressed in the future?

Thank you.
