[Idea] Nether Expansion- soul sand 'roads', and a new mob that travels faster on them.

This is running off of a couple of ideas already implemented in the game:

1a) nether forts. There was obviously something living here at one point, and they left behind blazes (which have always appeared to be constructs, to me).

1b) if something lived in the nether forts, they probably traveled between them, or had traders of sorts. There would be roads! Roads fit perfectly with castles and forts; roads are the signs of civilization and castles are civilization's (pre-modern city) bastions against nature.

2a) There is a new mob type that travels these roads, protecting them long after their masters are gone and are not friendly. They travel faster on the soul sand roads, and move at a normal speed off of the roads. This could be an evil reskin of the dog that can't be tamed, a bigger cat (again, can't be tamed), or something new like a hovering manta ray. They spawn while you are walking on soul sand, and they actively hunt you down. They don't even have to burn you like it seem everything hostile in the nether does- they just have to be mean, fast, and scary to deal with.

2b) Finally, this makes a new boot enchantment available (soul footed? spirit walker? something horrifically punny), that lets you walk and run as fast on soul sand as the new mob, and doesn't attract the attention of the new mob. This would give added reason to farm soul sand, as once you have boots with this enchantment, roads are significantly more valuable, and better yet, increases the value of soul sand.

The Nether should be truly alien, not just a little quirky like something that would appear in Super Mario Brothers. It adds flavor to the Nether, similar to what the overworld is receiving, and adds value to an otherwise low value block due to its high spawn rate and relatively small number of jobs (pvp traps, effectively).
