A Question

A friend and I want to start woodworking ( odds and ends like pipes, humidors, and canes) and we're having a very difficult time trying to find a wood supplier (both exotic and domestic woods). We both live in Memphis, TN. My question is where do you guys find wood? Online or somewhere else? Thanks!
