Question about working in business development

Would a double major in econ/int. affairs suffice to be able to work in international business development or should i shoot for an international business degree and MBA? It's my dream to combine work with traveling and i absolutely love learning about economics as well as history and culture (int. realtions/affairs), so I'm wondering if I can go down that path instead of the normal business/MBA track.
